Sanitation

***** I will be adding my test and PPTS The ServSafe Sanitation Curriculum is a lot of information to teach to high school students.  There is not an easy way to teach SANITATION!   I have tried cute ways, but the direct approach has always work best. In Culinary 1 (Intro Class), I usually teach chapters 1-6 of ServSafe. I quickly reteach this in Culinary 2 (Baking and Pastry), and I provide a full day of professional development in Culinary 3 (Hot Foods) covering all 10 chapters. I also proctor the ServSafe test on that day. I use the ServSafe PPT that I purchased and created flip-charts (for a smart board) so that I could write on them and the videos that accompany the PPT''s.  Here is an example of a note-taker that I use in my classroom. Culinary 2 Sanitation Artifact Here is a Google Poster Project you could use.  * Use Google Slide instead of Google Docs because of access to textbox feature.  Safe or Sorry Poster Project Culinary 2 Test Q
